Each contestant walked down the runway then picked a question from a hat for the hosts to ask them. The questions were your typical pageant questions with additional questions that deal with college issues and Chico State.
Fallowing the professional wear and interview was the talent portion of the competition, which was worth 10 points.

Michelle displayed her skills by playing a very challenging song on the piano.
Savanaha showed her interest in graphic design and displayed her art.
Alison performed martial arts.
Giavonni or GG showed her baking talent.
Jayme and Tyson performed together, Jayme played the piano while Tyson sang and beat boxed.

After the talent competition the hosts Rob and Lorraine began the next event, the evening wear and interview. Similar to the first event evening wear was worth 10 points and the interview was worth 15. When this event was through there was an intermission, which lead to the introduction of the top four contestants.
After the Intermission the top four male and female contestants were announced to the stage for their final interview question, which was again drawn by the contestant randomly from a hat.
